Horse Week at the Farm

This was a great week at the farm. Peyton Grace attended a local horse camp. She loved it so much. We also took the opportunity to read a book from my childhood "The Black Stallion and the Girl". P G was exhausted at the end of each day at camp, so we saved our reading until bedtime. I lived for horses and read all the books just like her at this wonderful age of 8.

My Natalie started reading Black Beauty this summer. How fun! Her and Payton are the same age.

Love this post I do. Love it that she loves horses so and just is so stinkin good at riding and loving on them. Love it that you two get to experience something so wonderful that you both love so. Ok, me too but it is fun to watch you two get all sweet-eyed over horses.

Oh, what fun! As a child a horsey camp would have been my dream. Tell Peyton to not give up the dream. I got my first pony at age 8, had to give them up in college for 17 years, but at 38, I am a horse owner again! I love it! :)

I LOVED that book as a child and would walk around in my older sister's snow boots because I thought they looked like riding boots on me! How wonderful for your daughter...
